This spot works at all tides, but it is very shallow at low tide. This is the time when the waves get tubular. The perfect right breaks over a reef and rocks. The take off is quite tricky and this is definitely not a place for beginners.
It only takes a quarter of an hour to get here from Avellanas, the ride is bumpy. The color of the beach is closer to white than to black, what one would expect from the name.
